Midnight Mermaid

Bead embroidery necklace.  One of kind piece.

My vision was a mermaid swimming through tall dark grass at midnight.  I am often inspired by mythological creatures and mermaids are one of the most famous of all.

The face is handmade by a local glass artist.

Made with Miyuki Delicas, TOHO seedbeads, bugles, scales and other czech beads.  Fireline string used and backed with suede.
